Neurodiversity Support

Regardless of our particular focus for treatment, I aim for an attitude towards affirmation that honors a spectrum of ways we humans think, feel, relate, and self-identify - without considering any of these inherently "disordered.”

Unfortunately, much of society tends to be one-size-fits all and often discriminatory or "othering." Repeated experiences of othering form the basis of complex trauma, shame, depression, and anxiety - which can often segue into addictive or desperate attempts to self-medicate, self-soothe, or isolate.

By honoring our differences for their beauty, strengths, and challenges, we can experience and manage them as they simply are… without added layers of shame, resistance, or self-doubt. In the case of ADHD and autism, we often find that the most "problematic" symptoms improve. In any case, there's freedom to be more of who we truly are.

Let’s discover how amazing your unique wiring is, when it is freed from certain boxes.
