I consider our non-physical experience between lives to be our true reality, our true home. I believe that our trips here on Earth in our physical bodies are but a moment's dream from that far more eternal place on the Other Side.
By going into a very deep altered state, it is possible for many people to remember at least some of their non-physical experiences between physical lives. Our capacity to do this, and our experience of this non-physical part of our journey, varies from person to person. Some people remember being welcomed by angels or other special beings. Some remember going into the light, some are aware of floating peacefully, and some people feel like they have become particles of colorful energy.
One of the most significant benefits of exploring our non-physical experience between lives is the opportunity to evaluate our Earthly lives from this wiser, more eternal perspective. From here we can better understand the influence any past life has had on our life today. We can also understand why we felt we needed, or chose to have, any given life experience. By looking at it from this perspective our lives take on new meaning and depth.
Other illuminations from this perspective might include the emotional consequences of any given past life, other choices we might have made, and how any given past life might parallel on an inner level our life experience today. In general it becomes easier to understand how our past experiences have created who we are today.
It is also possible to go to the period when we were planning our present life. In this way we can get more clarity on our goals for this life - what we hoped to learn and how we hoped to grow by coming here for this incarnation. Some people even remember events they planned to experience in order to accomplish this.
All in all, exploring between lives can help you to remember who you REALLY are - an eternal being exploring and growing through many varied incarnations and experiences.
